Union Station via RTD Trains
This tour will begin with walking to the local RTD station and riding the public RTD system to Union Station. You are also welcome to get yourself to Union Station by any means you prefer as the tour there will start at 10:30 a.m. in the main lobby of Union Station. Also, Michelle is leaving early enough to have a little time to eat at Union Station. All the afternoon RTD schedule times are listed below in case you want to plan a different time for yourself.
For those who want to join Michelle Kempema in the public transportation option, we meet in the hotel lobby at 9:15 a.m. We will walk to the Colfax Station of the R Line to start this tour. (Approximately 15 min. walk). We will take the R Line north from Colfax to Peoria at 12:38, then get off and board the A Line west to Union Station at 1:01pm. The tour at Union Station will start at 2pm. Amtrak Conductor, Brad Swartzwelter, will be guiding us through the renovation of the station and his experience finding the lost “Moffatt Cup” which is now on display at the station.
There is no cost other than your RTD rail pass of approximately $6.00.
